John Towels III was named the new Head Football Coach of Hebron Hawks on June 10, 2022. Towels III was most recently the head coach at Clear Brook High School which he held for two seasons. Coach Towels becomes only the second football coach in Hebron history and inherits a very tradition-rich program.
Coach has been in education for over 20 years. Towels III has been the head coach at 6A Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, TX since 2020. Prior to his position at Clear Brook, Towels III led a top-ranked defense at Duncanville High School as the defensive coordinator where the Panthers made it to back-to-back 6A Division I state championship games. In his four years at Duncanville, the Panthers went 40-3 with Towels III as the defensive coordinator and won three undefeated district championships.
“Coach Towels III is known as a tremendous coach, person and program-leader,” LISD Athletic Director Cristie Liles said. “Coach Towels III has a history of coaching winning programs and building relationships with his players, staff, parents, and community members. His work ethic and reputation are second to none.
A two-time graduate of Langston University, Towels III earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in urban education. He is supported by his wife, Tanji, and his daughter, Ellengton.

Coach Quincy Stewart has been coaching for over 13 years with 2022 his 1st year coaching at Hebron.  He has made stops at Spring Branch ISD, Austin ISD, Venus ISD as Head Football Coach, Duncanville ISD and San Antonio ISD as Athletic Coordinator/ Head Football Coach. While at Duncanville High School, Stewart helped Duncanville advance to the UIL Class 6A state championship game in back-to-back seasons. Coach Stewart is a retired NFL player who played for five years. His first two NFL seasons were spent in San Francisco, where he was coached by legendary coach Steve Mariucci. He also played two years in the CFL (Canadian Football League) and was a Grey Cup Champion. Coach Stewart is a graduate of John Tyler High School, and he played college football at Louisiana Tech University. His passion is motivating student- athletes to achieve their very best. He believes building a relationship with his athletes is the key to success.

In the summer of 2022 Coach Orr was hired to be the Offensive Coordinator at Hebron High School.  He has been coaching for over ten years of high school football and most recently was at North Crowley High School, where he served as offensive coordinator.  Coach Orr is originally from DeSoto, TX graduating from DeSoto High School in 2008. While at DeSoto he started to have a passion for teaching/coaching.  Coach played football at Texas State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science in 2012. Coach was on the staff of De Soto High School that won the 2016 Football state championship. He has also coached at Carter High School in Dallas, TX. There is also a history of football players in the Orr family. His dad played at University of Texas and for the Washington Redskins and his 3 younger brothers, also graduates of DeSoto HS, have all played at the college and/or NFL level. In March 2014, he married Raven and they have three wonderful children Terrance, Raegan and Tyson.

Coach Miller was hired at Hebron in the summer of 2022 and prior to coming to Hebron he worked at Arbor Creek Middle School in Lewisville ISD and has worked there since 2019. At ACMS he taught 7th Grade Science and coached football, basketball, and track. Coach grew up in Ada, Oklahoma where he played football for the State Champion Ada Cougars. Coach Miller graduated from East Central University where he majored in Science and Education, played wide receiver, coached football, and graduated with a Degree in Education!
Coach did graduate work at Texas A&M University, studying Kinesiology.  In 2021, he earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. He first started teaching in Brenham, Texas in 2003. Coach is married and has 2 children.

Coach Gibson joined the staff of Hebron in the summer of 2022 and coaches Varsity Outside Linebackers and teaches Social Studies in the 9th Grade Center. Prior to coming to Hebron, he taught and coached at Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, Texas from 2017-2021.  Coach was also an assistant baseball coach at Clear Brook.  From 2015-2017 he coached and taught both baseball and football at Bay City High School. Between 2016-2017 he was also the head baseball coach.
Coach Travis is originally from Emory, Texas. After graduation from high school, he attended Austin College and graduated with a Major in History and Minor in Education Sports Science. While attending Austin College he played both football and baseball. Coach Also earned All-Conference in baseball.

Matthew Zimmerman - Hebron Hawk Stadium Manager

Coach Zimmerman joined the football staff at Hebron in 2017 and the soccer staff in 2016. In the fall of 2020, he accepted the new position of Hebron Hawk Stadium Manager.  As stadium manager he is responsible for safety, security, cleanliness, and field appearance of the stadium facility. He previously coached WR’s and OLB’s for the Freshman teams as well as the Kickers for the Varsity/JV teams.  He continues to be the Varsity Mens Soccer Coach.  Coach teaches U.S. Government and Economics on the main campus.  He is originally from Minnesota and spent 14 years coaching high school sports, 1 year coaching college soccer and 7 years teaching Special Education and PE.  Coach Zimmerman lives in Lewisville with his wife Jennie, his 2 children Michaela and Joshua, and the family dog, Bear.

Matt Moreau - Head Athletic Trainer

Matt began his tenure at Hebron High school in 2020 and assumed the role of Head Athletic Trainer in 2021. A native of northern Michigan, he spent 10 years as an athletic trainer in NCAA Division I and II athletics: most recently at Michigan State University working with the baseball program for 5 years. Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree in May 2010 from Central Michigan University, a Master’s degree in May 2012 from Georgia Southern University, and a Doctor of Athletic Training degree from AT Still University in December 2020. Matt resides in Lewisville with his golden retriever, Bella.

Nikki began as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Hebron High School in the fall of 2019.  A native of Copperas Cove, she spent nine years at Killeen ISD, working most recently at Shoemaker High School where she served as the Head Athletic Trainer. Nikki received both her Bachelor's Degree (December 2006) and Master's Degree (May 2009) from Angelo State University. Nikki also teaches Sports Medicine 1.

Erica Almaraz- Assistant Athletic Trainer

Erica began her position at Hebron High School in the summer of 2023. She is originally from Southern California. She was previously working at Hillcrest High School in California before making the move to Texas. Erica received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2019 from McPherson College, and my Master’s of Science in Athletic Training Degree in 2021 from Azusa Pacific University. She also teach sports medicine 1 and sports medicine 2.”
